German-French double diploma
Since the 2008/2009 winter semester, architecture students at TU Dresden have been able to obtain the German-French double diploma in a joint degree program with ENSA Strasbourg.
Prerequisites are the successful completion of the first three years of study or proof of corresponding, credited knowledge and French language skills, which are classified as B2 according to the international language level. Students from Dresden can begin their one-year stay at the partner university in the winter semester after their third year of study at the earliest. During this period, 50% of the coursework for the main subject should be completed. In addition, a two-month internship in the partner country is required.
The students registered for the double degree receive a timetable which regulates the course of the main subject studies both in Dresden and in Strasbourg. The German-French Double Diploma is organized by the Chair of Architectural History, Prof. Dr. habil. Sonja Hinilica and Dipl.-Ing. Kerstin Zaschke, who students can contact if they have any questions or are interested.
